One of the greatest tools The Fitts Company has to offer its clients and employees is the custom designed website...created by The Fitts Company for The Fitts Company. This asset allows us to fully manage a project while keeping everyone involved “on the same page” and taking a lot of stress and busy work off the client.

The website allows us to manage an order by keeping all the information concerning an order in one central location that everyone can easily view. However, the site is password secured so only authorized users can view the information. This includes pertinent information such as site address, contact information, requested delivery date as well as an original and proposed photograph depicting the current product and proposed product.  This allows our customer the unique ability to view and make changes to the finished product before fabrication ever begins.  The photographs are attached to a product containing a detailed description of fabrication methods and color specifications ensuring accuracy to the highest level.

If a design stage is necessary, this is easily done through the Project Specific site where designs are posted to the secured internet for review and changes requested until a design is chosen. Original photos are then revised by superimposing the new signs into the photograph so the client can see exactly what the new sign will look like before production ever begins.

Once the client is content with the preliminary sign designs, the entire job is priced and proposals sent to the customers via e-mail from the website. Once the proposal is accepted, permits are filed and variance hearings are attended if necessary. This is another way stress and busy work is taken off the client to manage the entire project.

Dimensioned drawings are made by the graphics department of the exact signs noted in the photographs and then sent to the production department. The signs and ATM enhancements are then programmed into our 3-D modeling software allowing a product to be created virtually before the first piece of material is cut. Each piece is programmed and then sent to be cut on the router ensuring accuracy up to 1/64” so less material and time is wasted on human error.

The installation dates are entered into the website and can be plotted on a calendar for the client and the production department to view because it is vital to The Fitts Company to keep all deadlines.

The client can then use the website to track orders, make orders, and once the job is completed, they can view the installed sign compared to the proposed sign.

The website is much more elaborate than this skeleton outline presented but still provides a basic overview of how we can manage an entire project for you.
